America The Great Poem by Frank Adie

America The Great

America, America, great America,
I hear your echo in Africa,
The song of the human race.
When would I see your face?

America, America, great America,
A land without a replica;
The greatest human magnet;
The cradle of the internet.

America, America, great America,
America the tourist's mecca;
The land of bravery and martyrdom;
The bastion of hope and freedom.

America, America, great America,
America, the dreamland of Africa;
The home of democracy;
A land that thrive on legitimacy.

America, America,
The one and only America;
A land that defies impossibilities;
A land of great possibilities.

America, America, beautiful America;
All nations are chanting: America;
America the dream of the whole world,
America the greatest wonderland.
