American Election 2020: Just Days Away Poem by Terence George Craddock

American Election 2020: Just Days Away

considering how risk polarized
how angry today much of this world
is toxic issues presently riddled

with inequality injustice intolerance

unable to agree or tolerate opinions
differing from own personal agendas
street protest anarchy demonstrations

belief which focus does
not agree with a media consensus
receives little no airtime

America is almost split down the middle
sadly tragically bitterly divided politically
how can such division be healthy healed?

it is perhaps wise not to be wise in the ways of the world

prayer is ridiculed
but peace is needed
tolerance is needed

is impending election the calm before storm?
will election results be fought over or accepted?
I will pray for peace peace peace no storms!

I will pray for restoration no divisions.
I will pray for honest capable leadership.
I will pray for a happy healthy America.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I am not American either, but half the world is worried about this election, the other half should also be worried. In the hands of one man, decisions that effect the world and the future of the entire planet, and this man plays with the nuclear football. The American economy, effecting the world economy, military power plays and invasions, occurring while the world is distracted by COVID 19 and this election. Good leadership is needed now.

I am not American but i hope and wish there is peace because the unpleasant vibrations be felt in a lot of places and i am not sure the new world order will bring world order at all.
