Oh Lord please give us comfort
For all that we’ve been through
Try to help us not forget
You see and love us too
Please take away some sadness
Replace it with Your love
And help us in our time of need
As we pray to You above
Please help us to understand
Why life can be so hard
How can we get through bad times
And leave our hearts unmarred
Unite us with our loved ones
I ask this from my heart
Hold us close to you now, Lord
Please give us a brand new start
