Amerigo Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Amerigo, go, ago, age, arm, am, ram, aim, air, rag, rage, image, ore, roe, or, oar, game;
Of the outbreak of cholera in the town!
With a mountain of garbage in site,
Close to the residential areas of the poor structures of the poor people around.

Of lyres, flutes, drums and harps!
But, sadness had taken over the eyes of the people;
As many are now dead from the sicknesses around the area,
Because of the insanitary condtions found among them.
