An Advice Poem by Josey Alfred

An Advice

I told a lie, my mind rebuked!
My aunt bid me, to be just bold!
And use same trick, to attune world
And assert as truth, the lie you told.

That is the way to keep your hold,
And for that be alert and bold!
Or else you will regret in world,
So train your mind, to be too bold.

You are sanguine my child beloved!
The laws are there to confuse the mild
With a icy mind you reap good yield!
And forget them with disdain too cold.

Re-mold your husband, in your mold
And shut his mouth with lips your loved
And press him on your bosom tepid,
And affirm a lie, he is your God.

Accuse in-law, they keep you tied,
And make you sick, by nagging loud
And is a frantic, her ways are sullied
She is trying to make me frigid.

Beg him to send her to home for old
Or else our daughter will get sad,
And make her mind like mine rigid
And that will spoil her life married.

This advice is crazy......... the opposite of what we are expected to do! I am sure you have made this reversal of values to give it the effect of a lampoon! Enjoyed the humour!
