Sorry my child for mommy didn’t protect you.
Because mommy was just a child too.
Mommy regret nothing in her life, except letting you go.
My little angel in heaven, a babygirl, I know.
Today a real mother, understanding the meaning of true love.
True love I have felt back then, when I sent you to heaven above.
The love I have for your little sister and little brother.
Is the same love I have for you my daughter.
Forgive me please for my lack of braveness,
I now can only ask you and God for your forgiveness.
Abortion, an ugly word, an ugly deed,
I didn’t want to do it then, but still I did.
I pray and ask the Lord above to watch over you.
Until we meet again, until my time here is due.
14 years later, I write you this poem for you to receive.
To let you and the world to know, I am still in grieve.
