The leaves fall all around
As we walk through the forest
And then we here the soft pound
Of our hearts beating with unrest
We calmly stroll to a pond’s edge, and lie down
We watch the wind blow the leaves off the trees
And as they swirl and twirl with different shades of brown
We watch the blue skies become starry seas
The stars are bright during that dark night
And we are watching them above, dancing and spinning around
I turn to see her hazel eye’s become mystified, and I’m thinking that this just might
Be the best night of my life, as we lie upon the autumn ground.
