~ An Cotten Sa Spéir ~

Cad a fheiceann tú nuair a fhéachann tú ar an cadás sa spéir. Nuair a stare mé ag an scamaill ní bheidh mé a fheiceáil bréag. Feicim go bhfuil áilleacht i do chuid súl. Cad a fheiceann tú nuair a fhéachann tú ar an ghrian. An bhfuil tú aisling de spraoi teaghlaigh sa todhchaí? Nuair a cheapann tú ar an oíche, a dhéanann tú envision an twinkle na soilse beag? Nuair a fhéachann tú ar ghrá, a fheiceann tú ar an doves turtle? An é sin an comhartha ó na déithe thuas. Nuair a chuimhním anois ort beats, mo chroí níos tapúla agus níos moille ag an am céanna. Ó, mar sin sásta go bhfuil tú mianach. Tá duine éigin cosúil leat deacair a fháil. Do gcónaí ar m'intinn. Go dtí go bhfuil muid liath agus aois, nach bhfuil an cluiche a théann tú agus a fhilleadh. Ansin, muid le chéile arís ag na geataí déanta d'ór.

Poem of the Day

poet Christopher Marlowe

Black is the beauty of the brightest day,
The golden belle of heaven's eternal fire,
That danced with glory on the silver waves,
Now wants the fuel that inflamed his beams:
