An Elegy To Woolmer Poem by Khalid Rawat

An Elegy To Woolmer

Nor Hector died besides the lofty Trojan gates
Nor gave away his soul Achilles in the hands of fates
The way the noble hero died and earned a name
Whose brightness will forever, put the stars to shame
And those who but for honour live, don't see the day
That brings to them the taste of shame and of dismay
