It's wonderful when someone holds you so close
You can feel his heart throb next to yours
The doubts disappear before you
The emptiness inside vanishes, too.

His kiss may not be as awesome as all the dreams you've had
His presence may not cause you to tremble and go out of your mind
His touch may not be as magical as you'd thought it would be
But the security it brings is more than you could hope for to feel.

There's the promise he'll be there for all time
That you'll have a shoulder to cry on if the needs arise
The assurance that he cares and wants you to know that
Trust you'll have someone to cling to when the going gets tough.
