An Encounter With Sunset: Gently Lapping Seashore Waves Poem by Terence George Craddock

An Encounter With Sunset: Gently Lapping Seashore Waves

anticipation pleasure perceives
an encounter with gently lapping waves
in ephemeral flames sunset fire burns a beach
water deep rich blue dye ripples wave shorelines

as low tide soft hums in gentle twilight serenades
water sunset cool invigorates naked toe touches
a few final tiny lost sheep clouds still sky drift
background illuminated by golden glow sunset

yellow ball time slowly shrinking low sky sea split horizons
an encounter with slow glide rush slow pause wave lap seashore
this is mood soft silk serene time day eases duration time spent

soft pastel eyeliner soft pink yellow golden eye sun winks
sea sown garment deep purple blue lush periwinkle flower fields
soul enflamed in exquisite beauty sky place time sunset sun fades
