We went to an Expo the other day
Learned about horses and such
Their strength and beauty is amazing
We enjoyed the day so very much

They stand very still and patient
As they are pampered in every way
Ready to give their best for their owner
At any given time night or day

There is different breeds and temperament
But in some ways always the same
Unless captured right from the wild
They are wonderful, faithful and tame

Their magnificence is beyond description
No other animal can even compare
Whatever event you hand them
It is one they are ready to share

We also enjoyed the refreshments
Apples and ice cream so sweet
Yes, this Equine Celebration
Was such a delightful treat!
