An Expectation..... Poem by RIC BASTASA

this is the usual feeling anyway,
the more i read, the more i do not know,
the more i know about you,
the more unpredictable you have become.
you are not the weather that i can put on the map
and say that tomorrow surely it will be sunny.

perhaps, i have changed myself too,
and so you have ceased to be another pattern.
the beautiful city that used to be in the map
whose road i can take by night even without the
light of a star is gone.
