An Interesting Thought Poem by Riya Gangwar

An Interesting Thought

Rating: 3.0

I want to write these words down, before I loose my mind.
Before the eyes bleed out these tears and conceive my pride.
Before the arrogance consumes, I wanna dig deep down beneath the bones
I wanna answer to my demon, that whispers when it calls.
'No pain to gain, No pain no gain' its whispers constantly again,
its echo pierces through my ears, and vibrates deep with in my brain
A thought dismissed, included to, I cant seem to conclude,
between this flesh and inner being, a war that started with a feud.
Before my time, before today, a choice in premeditated state,
before the soul was tied to sin, before those two have chosen fate.
A thought then too, what must I do? I wish I could remember,
It hurts to know I lost my friend, I wish we could have stuck together.
So when I hear the whispers, constantly a drift,
Id like to think that its a friend, that wants me back with it.
And be it though, my friend is deep with in the walls of hell,
Ill brake my knees in hope that God, will wish him just as well.
