An Oscar Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

An Oscar

An Oscar

Don't believe in your age
-are sick with Alzheimer
-then, do not pretend:
- "I do not remember! "

I am sure you recall
-when asked me: "Please buy…"

It was hard to market
-ladies' wear, underwear
-in those years that I searched.

Loving you as you were
-my darling wife, modest…

I knew of your life
-in the way you had talked:
- "My Daddy had friend
-who was bank manager…"

Dad took you to work there,
-man tapped you on shoulder
-and called you his daughter;
-led you to workplace…

"I never went again…"
-you told me, explained:
- "…since I was too modest,
-disliked such behaviour! "

Simple I, accepted
-no comment, no question!

Felt saw you over there
-when asked me to purchase:
- "For me good butt-firmer…"

Now, thinking to myself,
-don't believe what you said;
-full of doubts, I suspect
-you ever were honest…

Yes, is sad, heart breaks
-to hear wife, husband
-play games, pretend…

Now I think you wanted
-to stay in kitchen…

You were some lazy girl
-with a man full of care
-to amaze your husband
-you showed-off and played…

You recall, remember
-unless have Alzheimer
-that you hated women
-with loose butts and breasts…

If modest as you said,
-how come watch sexiest
-series and TV shows
-with our kids, children?

Let me be straight
-and help you to answer:
- "Then I was leech, vulture;
-but now am on pension,
-my earning more, yours less…"

Then, you sucked my blood
-now, richer, save you want
-with such life want me out…

You never were honest
-and never were modest!
-an Oscar you deserve! ! !

I regret, can't forget
-what you did, as my-ex
-broke my heart and thoughts.
-not only about you
-that of every woman
-and having relations!
