We drive by the pass
In Balkan mountain range
River flowing on the side
In canyon it created.

Scenery is beautiful
Green trees atop
Every mountain
In panoramic sight.

Bright golden sunshine
And cool morning breeze
Fill immense delight
In the cheerful atmosphere.

Comfortable bus ride
Lets one have a nap
Refreshing it sure is
To review scenes eyes closed.

On the way we pass some
Towns in Montenegro
In particular the capital
City of pretty Podgorica.

Another half hour drive
Brings us to the great
Lake of Skodra at the border
Of Montenegro and Albania.

Oh! What a lake it is
500 sq km of surface area
Surrounding mountains give
A gorgeous view to behold.

A grand national park
A Balkan treasure designated
UNESCO national heritage
A worthy place to visit.

Trip's very relaxing
Boat ride's exhilarating
Overall impression is
An unforgettable experience.
