An Unseen Plight Poem by Nikita Gupta

An Unseen Plight

Rating: 5.0

The Beam on their face made me look amused,
Their laughter, their chuckle, their mirth
How could they make me so happy when I am not among them,
The cloudburst can't hold me back from serving them
Even though I can stay no longer with them
But their smile and merriment
Will always make me cherish the time.
They are my first thought
My Aim
My Responsibility,
I feel doleful when I see them-
Begging, starving, homeless, clothless
When you alike me approach them
Get them something unusual
You can feel the warmth from them
The sparkling smile from them
And you can Tranquilize yourself
For the rest of your life.
