In the courts and society
Is an upright advocate respected
For his judicial faculty
And good gentle, virtuous quality.
He uses his learning and knowledge
To help his solicitous clients
Being deprived of justice and equity
For which he forwarded to the court of law.
His perfect knowledge
And strenuous learning
In the laws and litigation
Would make him an eminent
In his virtuous profession
And prominent pleader in society
He never minds to make
Virtuous transactions vicious.
He shines in his black robe
And white short neck tie
As a barrister being licensed
To the bar counsel and the courts
Protests injustice darely
By honoring judges amicably.
He attends the courts regularly
He never cheats and misleads
Trusted courts and faithful clients
He is unknown to the false facts
And conceivable circumstances
He knows well how justice misses
He is not greedy for money
As he is for social justice
For the wholesome society
His fees are not more than
His needs for the suit and simple life.
Such an upright advocate
Is a true devotee liked and loved
By the goddess of justice
In the world of jurisdiction
Being respected and honoured
By the clients in human society
Such lawyers are found in few.
A great tribute to the dwindling tribe of advocates who devote their exceptional knowledge of legal issues for the sake of serving humanity and social justice and not for money alone. Thanks.

Indeed, such lawyers are found in few. Beautiful piece of poetry that depicts the essence of the noble profession, nicely brought forth in good diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing Bhavi.
