Anatomy Of A Friendship Poem by Kristi Wilkinson

Anatomy Of A Friendship

Rating: 4.1

Once in a lifetime
You are blessed
With someone
You call your best friend.

Not sure how it happened
Or why this person was sent to you,
You just know that you
enjoy their company too.

You share everything you do,
Learning all of lifes lessons along the way,
Appreciating each other even more
At the dimming of the day.

You may have a quarrel
Every now and then,
Making you wonder
If you are going to choke them.

But somehow you make it
Through all the bad times,
Always knowing this friendship
Will never cost you a dime.

Yes, so beautiful and warm to know that we have a true friend, there for us without any other expectation besides our happiness, friendship, companionship. Thanks for sharing!
