Soon, you will be elderly
So trust not your memory.
Smile with elation, and
Write down information.
It's no disgrace, no loss of face.
Jot down the facts straight away
No matter what people say.
To be a good manager -
Confident of mind,
Or a great statesman,
Let efficiency shine.
You wear the crown
Write it all down.
Samuel Pepys was so sensible.
