And It's All Thanks To Noel C

The 1993 Eurovision Song Contest was held in Millstreet Town a piece of history
And all of it due to one man the marvellous Noel C
A legend in his own lifetime his reputation grow
And he's done more for Millstreet Town than anyone I know.

He's built an indoor arena at Green Glens and the best horses jump there
The very finest in Ireland with it none to compare
The best show jump riders in the World in Millstreet Town compete
You want to see the World's best you must go to Millstreet.

I spent the most of my childhood and some of my adult years near Millstreet's country Town
And great gaelic footballers and fine athletes to Millstreet brought renown
But one man put Millstreet in the World's eye and gave it Worldwide fame
One little man with a great dream Noel Duggan is his name.

The 1993 Eurovision Song Contest was held in Millstreet Town such good news one feel glad to hear
And for that Town by Clara hill it's greatest ever year
And Millstreet in the World's eye and it's all thanks to Noel C
The little man and his great dream and none greater than he.

poet Henry David Thoreau

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.
