Angel In Darkness Poem by Nathan Killeen

Angel In Darkness

By wisps of mist
My soul was kissed

Beginning my addiction.

Now I seek for soul to touch
That same thing I have missed so much
And with my goals laid out as such

I departed from my life
In search of eternal wife
But all I find, unbearable strife.

After all regions of this Earth
Both heaven and hell my soul traversed
All vain search in hope of mirth

Abandoning hope, I look next to me
And realize now that it was she
My heart felt, but could not see.
A part of whose life I wished to be.

And so I take a gamble
Praying not to ramble

I tell her I care
Her pain I will bear
Be with me the pair

Prince of night and angel in darkness.
