A-N-G-E-L-S Poem by Denis Martindale

As soon as God made angels,
Not all stayed truly blessed,
Good angels stayed, bad angels left,
Each had a choice to make,
Love the Lord, or loathe the Lord,
So many made their mistake!

As soon as Jesus Christ was born,
Not every person cared,
Good shepherds got told by angels
Expressing who God shared,
Listen, you can meet the Messiah!
So the shepherds went to see the Saviour!

And when Jesus rose from the dead,
Next to the tomb were sent,
God's guiding angels to explain,
Encouraging friends of Jesus,
Look not here, for Christ is risen!
Salvation for those who believe!

As soon as Pentecost came,
Now multitudes got saved,
Great is the Lord's mercy,
Each sinner's sins were waived,
Love grew in God's Christian Church!
Salvation by faith in Jesus!

And disciples preached Good News,
Not just to Jews alone,
God wanted to forgive everybody,
Each can approach God's Throne!
Life is one thing, eternal life is everything!
So be thankful for Jesus and His angels!
