Angels
angels gather all around
angels down here on the ground
angels wings are white and frail
angels won't sing there hearts to hell
angels sad and
angels mad
angels may not sing again
angels fly up to the sky
to see a place that we recognize
so angels smile across the day
and when night comes they
hit the hay

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
Maya Angelou
very welll written i liked it
I like the repetitions but the ending was bland.
The split up of lines can be redone to give a better effect. But the overall worth of the poem is not undermined. Blessings.
