Angels Smile At Me Poem by Melanie Walendowsky Baker

Angels Smile At Me

I can see the angels
when her eyes sparkle
just before she laughs.

The angels smile at me
through my friend's loving eyes
- they cut my soul in half.

I can see angels again.
Alas, they're not my own.
But my friend can now smile,
and I know she's never alone.
