Angels With Dirty Faces Poem by Aiden Florence

Angels With Dirty Faces

As brilliance dies away
Your diluted cold heart transpires
Deepening the demonism inside that angel
To the point I can’t bare to stand and protect
What your beauty had to compromise
In order to reach the revolution in the end.

Ideals are becoming insignificant
The second we break apart all standards collapse and fail
Can you feel the tempting uprising of your dirty blood
Awaiting to break apart from that beautiful concealed skin of yours
In order to dive deep
To where fraudulent angels loom.

Are you one of them concealed in the darkness,
How can I see through you
When beauty is all so discernible
How can I see through you
When deceitfulness is clandestine

It feels so good, every time I find myself
Incarcerated under your imperceptible devil
Incarcerated inside your perceptible angel
Oblivious of your obscurity
And all the desires you have to avail from my subsistence
