Anger Poem by Hannah Diane Williams

Anger

I want to feel
The peace I once felt
Walking through a nature trail
And hearing waterfalls.

But I feel like
Some kind of monster
Is chasing me down
And I can't see his face,
But he's suffocating me,
Leaving me breathless.

And I'm taking it
Out on others
Because I can't bear
To take it out on mself
Again.
