Anguish Of My Throbbing Heart Poem by Sheikh Madiha

Anguish Of My Throbbing Heart

Rating: 5.0

Today I am at that stage of my life,
Which will make the various pages of my life.
I have chosen my subject,
But few things in my mind make me object.
I feel so much scared,
It makes me feel weird.
I can't get peace at my heart,
I feel like palpitations at my heart.
I don't want that my decision proves amiss,
Just don't want this hap to miss.
I want my unending,
I want to dream my dreams in the unending;
Unending is the vast sky
In which my life and dreams fly.
Oh my Lord!
Please help me to chase the right track,
So that my train goes straight on the same track.
Please don't prove my decision wrong,
So that I can prove myself in the throng.

Beautiful depiction of fear of uncertainty placed before the Omnipresence omniscience omnipotence Lord in total submission to His Will, well articulated and nicely penned with spiritual insight. A good piece of poetry subtly written in lovely rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Sheikh. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

I agree with your observation that there are times when one feels scared and indecisive in life. I quote a bit from the poem: Oh my Lord! / Please help me to chase the right track,
