Another Home - Poem by Jeff Gangwer

I found another home—
With smooth, tiled floors—
Grains of sand sticking to my soles—
Gallo pinto on the stove,
Warm water from the spout,
Electrical power from the plugs—
Just enough—thank goodness—to find contentment
