Another Mountain To Climb Poem by J.B. LeBuert

Another Mountain To Climb

We climb all sorts of mountains in our lives.
No one can get there, unless one strives,
We struggle, we fight, and push on to the top.
To give all we've got, and never to stop.

Mountains or valleys, they're all the same,
When it comes to traversing, we need to get into the game.
I wish you well in what you endeavor.
You shouldn't give up, try, forever and ever.

I hope my little poem helps you to realize,
You can't sit on your butt, and fantasize;
What is required, to reach your goal?
You must dedicate yourself, that's your role.

You'll have all sorts of mountains to scale;
There are many struggles, don't be afraid to fail.
None will be easy, it's battle to win.
So gather your thoughts, your strength, and begin.

Many of the best things in life are free.
But not all of them are for you or me.
You've got to decide what you want for your best.
Pick the things that you want, and discard all the rest.
