Any Person Who Is Desirous Of Attaining The Eternal Bliss Of Heaven!
For all the people who live in this world
Surrounded by the roaring extensive ocean,
It is said that any person who is desirous of
Attaining the eternal bliss of Heaven
Will not abstain from doing penances
By self imposing himself by restricting the food
And to bear the suffering of the hot sun, severe rain and cold;
And also nurtures the other living beings!
This poem ‘Any Person Who Is Desirous Of Attaining The Eternal Bliss Of Heaven! ' is a translation by me of a poem from Tamil literature 'Muthumozhik kaanji'
குறள் வெண்செந்துறை
ஆர்கலி யுலகத்து மக்கட் கெல்லாம்
நிற்றல் வேண்டுவோன் தவஞ்செய றண்டான்.4
