Anzac Spirit

Just back to Changi
From the Thai-Burma Railroad,
'Living cadavers',
Soldiers yet, formed rank
On 4 legs,3 legs,2 legs,
Speaking through charade.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
After hearing Tim Bowden's account of interviewing former POWs of the Japanese after their conquest of Singapore.
Written in Haiku form: 5 7 5 5 7 5
