I need no direction
no, I can live this part
with no place for love
in a apathetic heart
I'll have no fears
but no cares
no sacrifices
but no gain
with no disgust
no beauty
without love
feel no pain
no passion
no indifference
nothing carefree
no worries to take hold
no strength
from the hurt
of a heart turned so cold
world painted gray
no misery, but no joy as the cost
how can you know what you long for
when your so displaced, lost
a dream of perfection? no...
can't figure out why
we live a a heartache
a wistful sigh
don't think of me as insensitive
I just can't justify
this concept of care
why even try
The line that really caught me was 'a wistful sigh'. It showed the true meaning to apathetic feelings. Wonderful work.

Very nice....a free form writing that abounds with truths that most people these days (both young and) must feel...my kind of writing...
