Apex Conundrum Poem by Kevin Patrick

Apex Conundrum

Worms eat the earth that they were born in
Birds eat the worms they pry on the ground
Cats eat the birds that wander in the grass
Wolfs eat the cats that trek through the trees
And
Man eats them all since he’s the Apex of all things
but when he dies...

The worms eat him whole

Reminds me of the TOOL track disgustipated. Where the main theme is life feeds on life feeds on life feeds on life and that this is necessary. You were clear in concise in your conveyance and I dug the theme as well. If you ever get a chance to check out that track you will probably like it for what it is.

Good one Kevin - but they're not eating me, I'm for the deep fat fryer!

And through bioturbation worms contribute kilo for kilo more to the Earth, soil and planet then the dead naked ape.
