April Thrill Poem by Ma Aileen Canizares Salibay

April Thrill

After a great show,
a childish desire was all I saw.
In her eyes it was very clear
though her mouth spoke fear.
But as fear rolled out her lips,
it cracked my seed of wickedness.
I slipped a hundred baht
to the man on my side,
and pushed mom for a quick ride.
I did hear a voice filled with thrill
but, after all, joy in her mouth did spill.
