Aquarium Poem by Sandra Feldman

Aquarium

Rating: 5.0

In the Aquarium of my memory,
Remembrances, pile up,
And melancholic thoughts
Awaken me,
Knowing, I cannot stop
Remembering the Past
Not yet passed,
But still Present
Hurting, non stop
Because,
You can't go home again
Nor bring back,
All those you've loved.

A very good title for this work. Wish we could drown the past in that aquarium instead of keep the memories swimming around and around taking up our present and our future. Excellent poem- mature and well rounded. 10+++++++++++++++

Just thinking of you today, can you believe it. This perfidious machine must of picked up some wave lengths perhaps.? So glad to hear from you! Thank you for your ever encouraging words and feelings. Your drowning suggestion is so spot on the truth of how we feel sometime, maybe many times about memories. Take care, be well

In the Aquarium of my memory we have kept lots of sequences. This is a nice poem very brilliantly penned. An excellent poem is well penned.
