Ardent Love Poem by Saif Samir

Ardent Love

Rating: 5.0

My fate is captive thousand miles away
My joy is lost in bygone days
Break the chain and come out of prison O dear
Don’t let me destroy, don’t let me drown
Without you I’m nothing but a dead soul.

Despite I don’t possess the wealth to welcome
Come and liberate me from the chaos
You are the tree of my life, sea witnessed
I do have only me to surrender in return.

I shared my life, I let you into me
I wrote the divine poetry in the heart
If love is not the only cause
Before my next breath should not I die?

Lovely romantic train of thought, a beautiful love poem well articulated, nicely encapsulated, and subtly penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. Love is a spiritual experience that affects us profoundly - a voyage of pure bliss. Definitely a good piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing Saif. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
