Are You Real? Poem by Jessica Seesink

Are You Real?

How dare you...
Who the hell do you think you are?
You think you can treat me this way and get away with it?
Well I hate to tell you this, but you're wrong...
Dead wrong.

You say you're my friend,
You say that you care,
But then again, you can't even remember my name.

You want to hang out,
You say that we're tight,
But you still can't remember my name.

If you don't even know who I am,
Why should I give a damn about you?

You act one way to me,
But everyone else sees another you.

I'm sick of it!

Sick and tired of being taken for granted,
Being used and lied to.

You say that you're real,
Are youreally real?
I can't even look at you without feeling sick.
I want to punch your face in!

Looking down at the shards of glass,
I realized that I did it..
I punched your face in.
I punched... my reflection...
