Armor Of Love Poem by T.James Becker

Armor Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Empty Vessel,
in search of fulfillment
Filled with the happiness of the misfortunate.
Stolen smiles and contentment glow
with detachment.
Locked in a crypt of sadness

Waiting, wistfully waiting
to swoop down like a vulture
devouring fragments of your life
Digesting felicity
eliminate life’s desires
abolishing dreams.

Hold tight the shield of courage
From the stone of despair
dislodge the sword of hope
Wield it skillfully
cutting down disillusion.
Armored in the love of family
