there is a discordant disconnect
in the mind of an artist musician author poet
who desires tries to best beat originality talent
of other artists true artists aspire in love
appreciation to capture light
share emotive sung visions
within glorious radiant white light
splitting into all colours spectrums
of the rainbow seen unseen in human light spectrums
an artist in appreciation adoration may comment
on inspired music paintings sculpture words of another artist
our tribute at the shrine of their altar may be a daisy buttercup rose
or exquisite rare orchid it is sentiment in gift
given sincere which matters immortalizes moments
all gift creation dedication woven sung in appreciation
combines purity mind vision interwoven inspiring light
into a continuous tapestry of beautified glorious light
honouring beauty perceived in inspiring creation moment

Appreciation is in expression, I have listened to different versions of music by great composers, as the conductor and orchestra plays interpretations of mental stress in played music; how we read listen opens up new experiences. The chance to write to compose offers immense reward possibilities.

p2The beauty of nature within the first lines extending through the poem, reminds of expressive thought imbued into 'Leaves Of Grass', by Wilt Whitman. Poets from time to time will return to reread a masterpiece, a poem which captures images in nature which delights calls to our souls.)
p1I returned to add a new comment on your poem, to express my thoughts repeated here. (Poetry and the love of Poetry is a personal subjective pleasure, for me your poem is a masterpiece of love for place, a city of origin, that siren calls to the soul, to the core of poetic personality.

p2with 'our tribute at the shrine of their altar may be a daisy buttercup rose or exquisite rare orchid'. My mother had about 30 to 40 orchids, a few quite rare, my eldest daughter
p1Thank you, I was worried the opening lines might be misunderstood by some. I wrote a dedication once, and received a comment stating I had written an inferior poem about a superior poem, which is why I wrote about sincerity of thought,
