Artist Walking Razor Blade Poverty Lines Poem by Terence George Craddock

Artist Walking Razor Blade Poverty Lines

Rating: 5.0

once I was an artist
walking razor blades
between poverty lines

sliding down gutsy
razor sharp razor blades
using balls as breaks

artists living on nickles dims
stretching resources elastic bands
to perishable rim winter limits

breaks snap irreparable breaks
deleted mass unsponsored artists
no patron no fame no incomes

too many words rushing waters
chokes muddies empty tills
sa la vie unrecognized artists...
