As Bright As The Daisy Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

As Bright As The Daisy

Rating: 5.0

And the daisies woke up to a brand new day,
Their petals so vibrant and bright,
Opening up to the summer sun,
They looked grand in the morning light,
A bee hovered down,
With pure delight,
And landed with so much grace,
There amongst the flowers,
This was his favourite place,
The butterflies danced in the sunlight,
The birds sang their song oh so fine,
A wonderful sight,
In a day filled with light,
A picture of beauty divine.
