As Dawn Breaks Poem by Diana van den Berg

As Dawn Breaks

Wafting in moons ago imaginings
to the whispers of the dawn
as it tiptoes over the shy horizon
gifting dancing flowers
with natural gold
while the sleeping night
in dreams
dares to ask forgiveness
for its wanderings.
