As God Makes Wise Poem by Michael P. Johnson

As God Makes Wise

As God The Lord today makes wise
More than ever before
Opening wide man’s blinded eyes
To see life’s waiting door

But seeing the foe, despising
Hindering true life’s Way
Through wily, manoeuvres devising
Man, is lured astray

Children, meant for The Saviour
Young lambs, for holy ground
Through selfish, uncouth behaviour
They’ll live and die unfound

Unless someone loving, would tell
The source of saving grace
Escaping death, escaping hell
To see The Father’s face

Beyond Heaven’s door above
Where life will never cease
Forever, one lives in perfect love
With endless joy and peace

But who on earth, will believe it?
Knowing in hell, fools burn
Who’ll turn, from sin to receive it?
For nothing in return

Except their filth that encumbers
Wickedness aimed to kill
Who in procrastination slumbers
While devils, do as they will

God loves all sinners in the world
But truth will darkness sever
Choose Jesus now, or risk being hurled
In hell’s fire forever…..
