Thoughts of you
come rushing through
like the rain that you watch pour
outside your window
and as I dream more
it's you that I want to hold
like the stars hold the night

Your love shines
like the morning light
it's a feeling I never want to let go
you're like nothing I knew before
their's something here
I just can't explain

I will take you forever
love you like you never knew
just you and me together
would'nt that be just so sweet
girl, you swept me off my feet
made me forget my pain
now I'm so into you

These days seems so long
waiting here my dear sweet friend
just closing my eye's to pretend
knowing where I belong
as I write you in a song

All that we have in common
the things that we share
it's like you and me
we were meant to be
as these days keep moving on

Now I need you to know
girl just how much I care
knowing this love is right
as I wait to hold you tight
inside me, you shine so bright
