As If Dreams Come True Poem by Scott J. Shepard

As If Dreams Come True

Rating: 5.0

Even I know there are a hundred billion stars in the night sky
but you'd say perspective is an invisible concept,
no matter how many truths come to me in my dreams.
You're not as invisible as you think you are
and I can still see that you're a hundred billion times
more incredible than you know.
So why keep on searching for those empty spaces
in all these dreams of mine.

Interesting reflection on perception and star numbers and a sense that all these merge together somehow to be a lack of emptiness of somebody's spirit on his mind. Surprising twist. Sense of majestic anthropomorphism of stars as nature.
