As it is

A blank page.
But none the same.
Created knowledge.
Known knowledge.
As it is, as it does
Lingers, dwells and stays.

Relife or not.
Soaking in the skin.
Settling and substaining within.
As it is, as it does.
Lingers, dwells and stays.

To stay by sight.
Which ever is right.
An over powering love.
As it is, as it does.
Lingers, dwells and stays.

Still stuck on an empty page.
Earser marks may leave stains.
Until is said and done.
As it is, as it does.
Lingers, dwells and stays.

A million words, a short rulet.
Somthing they do not get.
But life and love goes on.
As it is, as it does
Lingers, dwells and stays.

poet Edgar Allan Poe

Kind solace in a dying hour!
Such, father, is not (now) my theme-
I will not madly deem that power
Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
