As The Rain Washes Poem by Christopher Lacomba

As The Rain Washes

pounding, dripping, falling down,
this rain washes over me and makes it all go away,
i lean back and let them touch my face,
like simple kisses the heavens blessed upon me,
its peaceful here standing in the rain,
no sounds but the ones nature intended,
pure beautiful and always beloved of mine,
let the rain wash away the pain,
and bring my soul anew.
