As We Search The World Over Poem by RoseMarie Malvina Dell

As We Search The World Over

As we search the world over for whom we are
Can we truly find that self
We are all so different in our values and our beliefs
So is he wrong or right
We all are
For in each of us we find truth
Only within ourselves by our experiences
So who is he to judge our fellowman right from wrong
Seeing is believing
But why not ask ourselves these things
Instead of setting forth that
One true self who believes only in himself
You ask about trust and honesty but yet
We all do these things
Giving to oneself is what we do when we believe in ourself
If man goes astray, the trust has been lost
And no other shall follow
For they have taken the wrong path of life
Understanding my way is to say without a doubt
Go in the direction of the light
There you will follow the true path of life
All your answers to your questions
Are in the things that surround you
They live but do not speak
They give so much delight
To those who seek it
