Destiny Poem by RoseMarie Malvina Dell

Destiny

Must we treasure thyself so much
Open your mind to great things
Upon your desk that writes your destiny
Can you feel the triump
It doesn't matter where you go
The thoughts surround you
We create the moods and shut out the greatness of life
Open the doors but remember the beauty of life
Make it complete for each hour passes by
Open your eyes........... Close your eyes
You will never die

The blue water runs through as you see it
Open it up flows colors of red
Closing the book only marks the space where you left off
But life continues with dust on the shelf
Tie your shoes and walk the path
Ahead you will see the garden of beauty
Your very best can it be
But I can't hold on too long
Give me a breath the air will become still
The leaves will fall to the ground
I will walk with you hold your hand
The rain will fall
But you will ask nothing of me
This will be the time to say goodbye
